Annual AGM at the Schalke FC VeltinsArena - the first time in company's history that the AGM did not take place at Horst Castle in Gelsenkirchen:
June - Masterflex SE held its annual AGM at the world-famous VeltinsArena stadium, home to the Schalke 04 football club. For the first time in the company's history, there was a turnout of 54,75 %, more than half of the share capital was present at the shareholders meeting.

Masterflex donates to the local Children's Charity (Gelsenkirchener Tafel): At this year's B2Run company run in Gelsenkirchen, the Masterflex team managed a great 25th place finish. In doing so, a donation of 1100 Euros was raised for the local children's charity.

Masterflex Group reorganises its business section in Russia: In October, Masterflex SE sold its shares in the Masterflex RUS company, based in St. Petersburg. As part of the reorganisation, an exclusive sales partnership has been agreed with the new majority shareholders and former partners, a company known as SovPlym.

Antistatic FOOD hoses from Masterflex fulfill the new EU directive 10/2011, which is universally valid for all food-grade hoses from 2016 onwards. This therefore means that all Masterflex FOOD hoses and products are certified for direct use with foodstuffs, transporting everything from potato starch and sugar, through to frozen goods and even highly sensitive baby-food.

New ventilation hose from Matzen & Timm. The ultra-lightweight hoses from Matzen & Timm fulfil the very highest of requirements within the aviation industry. Once again, our trainees took part in a Christmas event and helped out at the local children's charity. Over two days, the trainees managed to help pack all of the Christmas presents and festive gifts for the needy - a much needed help for the local community!

The Masterflex Group significantly expands its warehouse and production facilities: February sees the start of the building work in Gelsenkirchen, where a c. 850 m2 warehouse on the company's grounds has just been completed. The new warehose is just the first stage of a much larger building project at the global headquarters, which will be completed by the end of 2016.

According to an study carried out by an independent institute and published in the renowned German business magazine "Wirtschaftswoche", the Masterflex Group achieved 32nd place in the rankings of the "Innovation Champions 2015". On April 15th 2016 the foundation stone for this structure was laid last Friday in the presence of Dr. Andreas Bastin, Chairman of the Masterflex Group, Frank Baranowski, the Mayor of Gelsenkirchen, various representatives of the Gelsenkirchen Business Promotion Association and business partners of the Masterflex Group. A total of €7 million is to be spent in construction and equipment that will include industry 4.0-capable machinery.
